Frequently asked questions
Our assessments will be undertaken on tablets which are supplied by SALFS Security, therefore, when you finish a particular unit, it will instantly tell you if you have passed or failed. So you can leave the course knowing that you have passed and are able to proceed and apply for your SIA licence.
You MUST be 18 years or over at the start of the SIA course to be able to be enrolled on it.
Answer coming soon!
The Door Supervision Course for people who do not hold a current and valid SIA licence is 6 days long.
Learners are required to attend ALL 6 days to gain their qualification.
The Door Supervision refresher course is 2 days long.
Currently, we only offer SIA Accredited Door Supervision Courses and refreshers.
However, in the future we plan to offer more SIA Accredited courses.
In the unfortunate event you fail any of your units, once the examinations have concluded, you can then speak to the invigilator, providing there is enough contact time, you can resit your failed units one more time, at the end.
Should you fail again, you will be required to come back another day to resit them.
